Definition of profession
Profession can be defined as expertise, responsibility toward the service of the expertise and within an association, as main job.
Professionalism
Professionalism involves textual knowledge, conceptual, procedural, and meta-cognitive (the dos and the don’ts of a professional teacher)
Foundation of teaching profession
The foundation of teaching profession are philosophical, empirical (facts), and legal-formal (rules of teaching profession)
Purpose of Professional development
The purpose of professional development course is to share information of how to be a professional teacher.
Knowledge has three subdivisions namely ontology, epistemology and axiology. These three subdivisions are influence or get influenced by the presence of technology either directly or not.
-          Ontology is the substance of the knowledge. For instance, if the department is English education, the substance or the discipline is English.
-          Epistemology is the procedure of the knowledge. It is the applied technique of the knowledge itself that tells how to conduct the learning process.
-          Axiology is the benefit of the knowledge. For instance, if we teach English well, our students will get benefit from it. They will be able to gain knowledge and they can use English effectively.
·      Science is affected by technology. The presence of technology can bring either



 







The human will be human when they are having a good moral or civilized








 






Ø  There are 3 things that the teacher should be aware of, those are
o    The ontology of knowledge
This is the substance of knowledge that is going to be taught to the students. Say for example, in English education department, the substance of knowledge that the teacher should teach to the students is English. 
o    The epistemology of knowledge
The epistemology of knowledge is the applied technique of teaching. This will involve the procedures of conducting a good teaching and learning process.
o    The axiology of knowledge
The axiology of knowledge is the benefit that can be taken by the students after they learn English. The teacher will play an important rule to make the students to be able to speak English well. If they can use English effectively, it will help them to access some information that is written in English and they also will be able to use English in daily communication with other people.  Therefore, the knowledge of English that the students get should follow the development of technology.

Technology can support the development of science. Nowadays, in the learning process, many teachers use power point as an effective media to display the material that is going to be taught to the students. This is the example of the use of technology to support the learning process. However, there are two kinds of technology, such as value bond (it has something to do with culture in the society. It may bring positive and negative impact) and value free (the invention of new theory to create something new). Actually, the use of technology can cause two things, such as welfare and misery.

Students are assumed as row inputs. When they study at school, they will face the process of transformation caused by the in dynamic factor and in static factor which are called as the internal factor. There is also the influence of external factor toward the process of transformation. After they graduate from their school (output), they should be able to find a job and apply the knowledge that they get in the real situation and follow the demand of the society (outcome).
